Q: How could I find a Nissan Skyline In Las Vegas?
I’ve tried everything I could think of! Ebay, craigslist, yahoo, google search, auctions, police auctions, newspapers, dealers, and yet I can’t fine one Nissan Skyline for sale in Las Vegas Nv. So I was wondering is there anything else I can try to help me find a 1995-2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R!

A: You could talk to the folks at Kaizo Industries. They have an office based in Costa Mesa California. They make Skyline body shells that comply with FMVSS regulations. Problem is you will have to find an engine, tranny, and drivetrain for it let alone someone capable of installing it all.

Otherwise, you’ll just have to keep looking. There are a few hundred legal Skylines in the States, but it will be hard to find one for sale since most owners that get them don’t wanna let go.

A: The R34 is illegal to import and own in the US. Only the ones imported by Motorex have a Federal Bond Release to prevent the US from confiscating it from you.

Good luck finding one for sale because of these reasons. You’re better off looking for an R33 Skyline available for sale.

A: If you are having trouble buying on look at an importer and see what quotes they give IE www.speedierimports.com Prices do differ around the World and the US prices are high due to the limited amount of Skylines there.

A: Specialty cars like that were made in so low production numbers for Japan and right hand drive countrys just finding one will be hard. Also high performance cars get rebuilt after wrecks so be very careful selecting a R34 GT-R. Not just any one will pass California Smog laws. Make sure you have all the EPA and DOT certification paperwork and call in help from the DMV make sure you buy a legal example. The new 2010 GTR only cost $83,000 each

I have 2 Nissan Skylines for sale. One is a 1990 r32 Gts-turbo. The other is a 1991 r32 GTR twin turbo. Both these cars are right hand drive and have a manual tranny. Let me know people, these things move quickly over here in the states.

Q: JDM Nissan Skyline R32 FOR SALE 8500?
Hi i owned my 91 R32 skyline for about 4 years now and im having alot of trouble with registering it. I do have registration paper work with it(california registration paperwork with japanese VIN on there) but they wont let me fully register.

The DMV referred my skyline as a 49 state vehicle meaning it can be registered anywhere but california. ive seen other registered skylines driving around and they are not motorex cars nor are they registered as a 240sx. They have a CHP stamp on the engine bay on also on the inside of the door. Is there anyone who knows how to get the blue stamp by the CHP? I am currently selling my car for 8,500 as is if anybody is interested. I live in san diego California.

These are the two big online retailers of used vehicles. There are plenty of Skylines out there for under 15 grand, however there’s a fat chance of finding the almighty Godzilla (GT-R). You should be able to pick up a decent R34 GT-T with the 2.5L naturally aspirated I6 and tiptronic transmission. Of the base models, the R34s are the best, but the R33 questionably looks better. Just one thing to note with Skylines, make sure that it hasn’t been driven by a P-plater or someone with a heavy foot. Usually that would mean it’s been thrashed and so they’re just selling you their problems.

A: You won’t be able to bring it to the USA. They won’t pass DOT standards. So please consider this before you send them your rmoney.

Q: Will a Nissan Skyline GTR still be for sale in a few years?
I absolutely love Nissan Skylines. They are the most amazing and beautiful car I have ever seen in my life (my opinion). I have 1 year until I can start driving and my parents already agreed to buy my first car. Since the Nissan GTR is $85k+, I wont be getting one of those. But it would be my dream, to own an R33 or R34. But I have not seen many in America for sale (I dont mind paying for it to be imported from Europe or so). I know your all probably saying (your spoiled, or you shouldnt be getting such a fast car for your first) Well thats my choice, and ill learn from my mistakes and I dont not post this question to get criticized so please HELP me out.

A: Older Skylines will def be around for sale then myself a good few years ago owned an R32 model and that was an old model then,atm i drive an R33 Spec 2 Skyline which i have owned for a good few years now but i am selling for an R34 GTT but i see plenty for sale.

The Skylines will be for sale for a longtime yet and just become classic cars.

On there you see old skyline going strong so they will def be around for many years now.

And as for making the Skyline Nissan still make the Nissan Skyline although it changed to what you know as the infiniti G35.

A: Nissan sells the new R35 GT-R

and newer Skyline models are sold in the US as infiniti G35’s etc

Nissan never sold Skylines out of Japan apart from a few sold into the UK all others are grey imports,there are a good few in the US brought through different loopholes etc and as long as you have the legal papers which meet the state the car is in then that is fine and al required mods have been done.

You will also see GTS GTS-T GT GTT GTS4 GT4 etc models sold these are also great cars and offer great tuning abilities,with the R33 single turbo versions good for 1000bhp and a mass of aftermarket parts out there.

Q: Is the Nissan SKYLINE COUPE GT-t legal in the U.S?
I’m 16 and trying to buy a tuner! I like all tuner’s. But Nissan’s intrigue me! I was looking at Skylines and I tried to buy one in Japan! I got an e-mail saying I needed to register it! Originally it was a Skyline Gtr r32!
I did my research and found out I couldn’t import it. Now i have my sight on two Skyline’s

A: It is good to see you on the Nissan route myself i am on my 5th Nissan and 6th soon hopefully.

Skyline wise the rules seem to be there but with so many skylines getting in the US one way or another and many owners being pulled over with no problems it seems to be a matter of if the right work is done on the car and the right paperwork is produced then there is no problems,but again the issue is state to state as i hear some states require more work to be done to make it street legal whilst others require that bit less work.
So the first angle would be to find out if you can have a skyline in your state and what is required for it to be street legal.It is true that Motorex did provide the crash test data for the spec 2 R33 so this is the easy route to take,and after all a really really good version of the skyline well its the version i have at the moment.But there are loads of owners driving other versions,so it seems to be a matter of the right paperwork and money and you will get one.
