Q: What should I buy for my boyfriend’s Acura NSX for Christmas?
I asked him what he wanted for Christmas & he said stuff for his car, which is an Acura NSX. I have no idea what to get him. It’s already lowered, has a body kit & ten pounds of boost etc. Any ideas, whether it’s cosmetic like floor mats, stickers, license plates or actual parts for the engine, ANY IDEAS are appreciated!

A: If he doesn’t have dual Xenon headlights on his car already then maybe you should buy them, they tend to look really nice on sport cars, but be aware that these bulbs are pretty expensive but they look really nice. In Lamest terms they are the white/blue colored headlights which imitate and produce the affect of broad daylight at night helping to better illuminate the road ahead. If he doesnt have them on his car then he probably has the normal luminescent yellow bulbs found on any common vehicle. The Xenon’s are found on many current luxury sedans like BMW, Mercedes, Infiniti, Lexus etc etc. Also try matching the license plate lights if you get the xenon headlights. The two Xenon bulbs at the back of the plate should cost you $10-$15 but the Bi-xenon headlight can range from $75 to $300. It all depends on the number of Kelvin (kelvin- the amount/number of brightness in the bulb) that you purchase, for ex- 6,000K, 8,000K (k= Kelvin). These are some Pics so you have an idea.

Q: R34 or Acura NSX 1993 what would be the best?
Im planning to getting an R34 Skyline or Acura NSX 1993. I will build this from gorund up and wanna hear some opinions here if any.

Will it be easier if I go for R34?

I like the NSX due to the style I can do on it. looks more like an exotic car.

Skylines the handling is superb on it. anything else?

A: Both are a really good pick of cars as people have said the R34 is a superb car from the na to the single and twin turbo versions.

So alot depends on the car model and parts you can get for each car then it is personal choice.Looks wise as said the NSX does look very exotic and a head turner,but again tit for tat the skyline is also a head turner and a pleasure to drive.

Tuning wise i can only speak for the skylines the engines from the single turbo and very tunable and offer around 700-800bhp twin turbo offers over 1000bhp and the attraction of the skyline tuner wise is the easy way power comes from added mods mixed with technologically advanced handling makes these cars a superb car.
Looks wise there are a mix of kits out there for the skyline to change the styling.

Q: Are veilside body kits discontinued for acura nsx?
Well last week i bought my first car which was a 1991 acura nsx and this car was destroyed so i promised my self i was going to fix it up and i wanted to start with the engine but right now i wanna get all the prices and i went to the veilside official site and it says it’s discontined so now i need to find out is there any other place that sells them and how much would it be my cousin told me it would about $1,000 or a little higher than that.

Q: Where can I buy wide body kit for acura NSx?
I just bought a 1993 NSX for $15,000 really bang’d up bumper and rear but no major damage on the engines.
anyways I am planning to put VEILSIDE Fortune Masity but I cannot find where to buy them? I am willing to buy them second hand if available.
I really like to build this NSX.

A: just get the OEM bodykits, Veilside is a private bodykit label and IMO for an NSX its OEM > Aftermarket

Vehicle Overview
Acura’s high-dollar, aluminum-bodied, mid-engine sports car underwent a notable redesign during the 2002 model year. The two-passenger NSX got a lower air dam, restyled front and rear fascias, and an air diffuser integrated into the lower rear bumper. Acura’s goal was to enhance the car’s handling, performance and aerodynamics.

Fixed-position headlights replaced the prior pop-up units. A trunk lip spoiler was added above restyled taillight housings. The front spring rate was increased, and larger 17-inch tires were installed.

A trunk-mounted CD changer joined the standard-equipment list for 2004, but the NSX continues into the 2005 model year essentially unchanged. A lightweight removable roof panel is standard.

Since its 1991-model-year debut, the NSX has been the most costly, strongest-performing member of the Acura lineup. Competitors include the Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Viper SRT10 and Porsche 911. Through the years, the NSX has been a technological showcase for Honda, Acura’s parent company.

Originally intended as a response to Ferrari and other makers of high-end sports cars, the NSX never achieved that level of status. A redesigned NSX is likely to appear soon.

Exterior
Unlike some sports cars with designs that date back to the early 1990s, the NSX still looks sleek and contemporary. Aluminum is used for many of the low-slung coupe’s components, including its sculpted, wedge-shaped body. An integrated rear spoiler contains a center-mounted brake light.

Built on a 99.6-inch wheelbase, the NSX measures 174.2 inches long overall and stands only 46.1 inches tall. Front to rear weight distribution is 40/60 percent. The removable aluminum roof panel permits open-air driving and contains an integrated storage compartment.

High-intensity-discharge headlights sit in conventional fixed positions. The lower air dam helps yield a 0.30 coefficient of drag. Forged aluminum-alloy wheels with a ribbed spoke design hold high-performance 17-inch tires: P215/40R17 in front and P255/40R17 in the rear.

Interior
Only two people fit inside the NSX, but tall occupants get more usable space than they would in many other sports cars. Acura claims the NSX’s interior is meant to evoke a jet fighter’s cockpit. Because of the mid-mounted engine, a modestly sized trunk is located up front; it holds just 5 cubic feet of cargo.

Standard equipment includes perforated leather-trimmed seats, automatic air conditioning, four-way power bucket seats, cruise control, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, variable intermittent wipers and a Bose cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer.

Under the Hood
Two powertrains are available. A 252-horsepower, 3.0-liter V-6 teams with a four-speed-automatic transmission, while a 290-hp, 3.2-liter V-6 mates with a six-speed-manual gearbox. The automatic transmission features a manual-shift provision that operates via a toggle lever on the steering wheel — an idea borrowed from Formula One racing. Instead of a throttle cable connected directly to the gas pedal, the NSX uses electronic drive-by-wire technology.

Safety
All-disc antilock brakes and traction control are standard. Side-impact airbags are not available.

Q: How to replace an acura nsx windshield???
hi, im writing this question for my dad because his windshield broke today.

he wants to replace the whole windshield by himself and he already has the new windshield.

Q: Which car should i get 1994 toyota supra or 1995 acura nsx?
Which is better? Which has more horsepower? Which one is better to customize? Please include specs if possible. Oh, and please don’t put answers like, why don’t you get a _____ instead. Thanks in advance.

A: I assume you are considering the top of the line Supra model. This is the model I used to compare to the NSX. Although the Supra has a ton more horsepower and torque, it weighs a little bit more, and is basically the same in the 0-60mph run (slower by .2 seconds).
So all in all, they basically have equal performance. I love both cars, and it would be a tough choice between the two. I suggest you drive both and see if you like the way 1 or the other feels, or if there are cetain options that you like better in one than the other.
I do not have any personal experience with an NSX, but I would assume it would have a more track-like ride to it, whereas the Supra might be more comfortable being driven daily.
Both cars are awesome and have a big aftermarket of parts.
The NSX stands out more and looks more exotic, but the twin turbo Supra is also one hell of a car!

Q: Why are such old cars like the Acura NSX, Nissan Skyline, Mazda RX-7, and the Toyota Supra so expensive?
They don’t go as fast as say a C5 corvette and yet they’re still sold at double the price. Is it just because they’re out of production imports?

A: its because they are the cars everybody want to get to make tuners or drifter cars out of. because they are in demand the onwers can jack the prices up and find some fool who will pay that.
